Sonicare’s DiamondClean

My parents and my dentist were the people that kept on me when I was younger to brush my teeth, floss and stay away from excess sugars and sweets.  After a certain age, we have to do that for ourselves.  While I still like my sweets and sugars, I do take good care of my teeth and with the help from Sonicare, it makes brushing kind of fun and not a chore.

I picked up this beauty on Black Friday this year and I’m so glad I did.  It was about $215 and I bought it from Best Buy.  Despite it being during Black Friday, it was not on sale but no matter, I needed a replacement.  My previous Sonicare, that I had for about 4 years, just stopped working and unfortunately it was out of its warranty (two years I believe).  I was forced to buy a new one but knowing the results that I got from using Sonicare, I was happy to oblige.  My dentist check-ups were nearly flawless.  Throughout my life I’ve never had a cavity and that is one of many records I intend on not breaking.

Enough of my own hygiene, let me tell you why I like it so much.  From the picture you can tell that there is a glass cup that you keep on your bathroom counter.  If you’re a bachelor like I am, you typically have your toothbrush in a cup anyways but this cup is a bit different.  It plugs into an outlet and when you put your DiamondClean toothbrush in the cup, it charges it.  There’s nothing you have to plug into your toothbrush or a stand to place it in.  Just simply brush your teeth, wipe it down and place it in the cup.  It will start charging right away and once it’s charged, the green battery light will stop flashing.  I think that part is genius.  It also comes with a hard, green, carrying case that doubles as a travel charger.  There are also two brush heads in case you will be sharing with someone or keep both of them for yourself.  (Don’t mind if I do.)

There are five options that become lit up on the handle once you click the round button on.  The options are:

Clean [2 minutes]

White [2 ½ minutes]

Polish [1 minute]

Gum care [3 minutes]

Sensitive [2 minutes]

I’ve used the clean and the white brush modes.  I like them both and I’m always feeling my teeth with my tongue to make sure there is no residue.  So far, so good.

I choose this item as a must-have because it’s unique, functional and it’s something that everybody needs – a toothbrush.  This one may be a bit pricey but if you want to end up saving money in the long run by not having to go to the dentist every other month to have a filling or don’t like the hygienist scraping away at your gums every visit, invest in a Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush.  Plus, it’s just fun to use.
